How it works
Beautifully Simple

Twist the lid to lock, close the steam valve. It won't pressurise otherwise.

A few ideas to begin with — and plenty of room to make them your own.
Add your ingredients to the inner pot below the MAX line, along with at least 250ml of liquid if you're pressure cooking. Lock the lid in place and close the steam release valve, then choose a function or set your own time and pressure manually. Press Start, and Q-Chef takes care of building pressure and cooking through to the end. Once the appliance beeps, let the pressure release fully before opening the lid, then serve straight from the pot. Bon appétit!
Yes. The inner cooking pot and steaming rack are dishwasher safe, though handwashing is recommended to keep the outer finish looking its best. The lid, sealing gasket, steam release valve and condensation collector should be handwashed in warm, soapy water after each use, which only takes a few minutes.
A pressure cooker cooks food quickly using sealed, high-pressure steam. It’s ideal for preparing stews, curries, rice and dense vegetables in a fraction of the usual time. A multi-cooker takes that same idea further, combining pressure cooking with other functions like slow cooking, sautéing and yogurt-making in one appliance. Q-Chef handles pressure cooking as well as browning, sautéing, slow cooking, simmering, boiling and yogurt, all from the same pot.
The Q-Chef combines pressure cooking functions (Meat/Stew, Poultry, Beans/Chilli, Soup, Rice/Grains, Dessert and Steam) with traditional functions like Brown/Sear, Sauté, Slow Cook, Simmer, Boil, Keep Warm and Yogurt, all in a 7.6 litre pot with High and Low pressure settings (70kPa and 40kPa), a 24-hour delay timer, automatic Keep Warm for up to 4 hours, and a full set of accessories including a steaming rack, spatula, measuring jug and condensation collector.
Yes, it's built with several safety features as standard. The lid locks and won't open under pressure, a safety mechanism stops pressure building unless the lid is properly sealed, and the appliance will alert you if there isn't enough liquid in the pot to cook safely. As with any pressure cooker, you must read through the safety guidance in the full manual before first use.
Yes. The Q-Chef comes with a 1-year manufacturer's guarantee as standard, covering parts and labour, with QOVO able to repair or replace at their discretion. It's worth noting the guarantee doesn't cover normal wear and tear, accidental damage, or use that doesn't follow the instruction manual.
